Reflection Research Proposal

Struggle

            It was really difficult for me to choose a topic for this paper.  Finding an area that challenged me and interested me at the same time was very difficult.  I did not want to use a topic I had used before but I also wanted to continue research I have conducted on past assignments, that I wish I could understand further.  However, I also wanted to choose a topic that allowed me to explore an area in which I will explore in my future career.  I also feel that with this topic it automatically provide my paper with the element of pathos. 

            I also find my topic very insightful, I find that many people I know do not give up on caffeine when expecting.  For example, my mother did not refrain from drinking coffee when pregnant with me and my siblings which may explain why my brothers and I are addicted to coffee.  That is another reason for why I chose this topic, because caffeine is something I consume daily without considering its abilities, short term, and long-term effect of the substance on my person.
