Reflection on Memo

State of the Lavatories

            When composing  the memo “The State of the Lavatories” located at Marshak Science building I considered what issue my audience would want acknowledged and corrected.  The purpose of this memo was to inform my audience of a situation and provide them with a solution.  In an objective manner in which no one felt singled out I described an issue that is important to many of us.

            In composing the memo it was crucial to inform my audience of the issue and ways in which we can all do our part.  I acknowledged my proper audience to inform them of an unavoidable issue.  Through the memo I was able to persuade my fellow colleagues that together we could do our part in keeping campus looking at its best.
