Reflection on Annotated Bibliography

            Creating an annotated bibliography made me analyze every piece of information in research pieces I was analyzing.  Evaluating research for its entirety allowed me took at the research for all the information it offered instead of limiting me to the information I am looking for.  Doing this assignment also broadened my understanding on my topic.  I learned that many theories from the debate have developed and it is not simply analyzed as genes and society, the topic is much more complex.  There is still so much that is unknown about human behavior, the mind, and human DNA even with so much uncertainty there is still a bridge between nature and nurture. 

            This research makes me look forward to a scientific career.  I enjoy looking into research and learning about these topics that are so important future human studies.  In the future, I would like to continue this research, so that people in the future can benefit from the new discoveries.  Research into this topic will better equip psychologists with the necessary tools to treat people for mental illnesses, that control these sick people’s lives.  I guess that is why I want to be a doctor, I always see advances in medicine in terms of how it could potentially better people’s lives.
