Reflection
of Final Draft
Passionate
Often times with the many papers I
have written this semester I have been able to research and collect information,
then plan execution of said information, however with this assignment I felt
that there was too much information and I would not be able to get my point
across. I usually over think assignments
and my topics, but for this topic I was so sure that this is what I wanted to
research. I became so curious about this
topic after reading from prison to PhD, I could not understand why a mother
could be abused and then turn around and abuse her own child and eventually
killed him. I needed to understand what
makes someone become this way, and how could we change this vicious cycle of
ignorance, abuse, and violence. Therefore,
it was clear to me that this controversy is so important to many of the issues
going on today, and if clarity could be gained everyone could benefit.
This topic was very interesting and
I am sure my audience would appreciate the valuable insight on this major
controversy. When composing this paper, it
was difficult to plan the execution of the information, because human behavior
is anything but easy. Trying to explain
basic information or fundamental theories behind psychology requires lengthy
explanations, and I did not want to bore my readers. Therefore, I only included absolute necessary
information and got straight to the point.
I do truly believe that if psychologists continue to study this concept
and perform further studies the world could benefit from the findings and
become a better place.
