Progress

            Once posting all the assignments completed I had time to review the quality of work I completed this semester.  Reviewing my work, I see how much I have grown as a writer, but I also see how much I still have to learn.  To better the quality of my writing I must continue to read challenging literature and practice, similar to the way I have been practicing with the journal entries and reflections.  Through these different assignments I have been able to learn and identify different styles of writing in science, and how important they are to achieve its purpose. 

            I would like to continue to build on these writing skills by practicing and reading.  I will continue to research topics that interest me the way I have been doing in this class, with the same amount of responsibility and interest.  I also see how true research is conducted and synthesized for its true value and how to create a valuable conversation between pieces of research.  I have learned how connecting different pieces of information will enable further research on these topics, allowing other researchers to evaluate information from another angle.  This is how science has evolved and thrived, and will continue to do so.
